Kathleen Roberts, 86, Shawnee, passed away Friday August 28, 2020 at the Saint Luke’s Hospice House
in Kansas City, MO. She was born February 20, 1934 to Tom and Genevieve Zimmerman in Kansas City,
Mo. She graduated from Lillis High School in 1951. In 1982 she went back to college and graduated
from Johnson County Community College. With her degree she opened her own business and began
auditing medical records at area nursing homes. She retired when she was 79 years old.
Kathleen joins in Heaven, her husband, David; her son, Jerry; a daughter, Marsha and her parents, Tom
and Genevieve Zimmerman. She leaves behind a son, Tom Roberts; stepson, Dan Boehm; two sisters:
Linda and Marie; grandchildren: Mindy, Brett, Derrick, David, Amy, Genny, Holly, Heidy, Kristy and Asya;
15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10-11AM Wednesday Sept 2, 2020 at the Overland Park Funeral Chapel, 8201
Metcalf Ave followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. If desired
